How is the Weather in Amed today?
Amed is located in East Bali near Tulamben. Both villages are famous for their excellent diving spots and laid back atmosphere. Amed lies at the foothills of the great volcano Gunung Agung, Bali’s mother of mountains with its majestic and most sacred temple Besakih. Amed gets a lot more sun compared to other areas nearby, which makes it perfect for the local salt cultivation.
Bali’s is located very near to the equator; therefore, its warm, tropical climate makes it a huge draw for tourists. Average year-round temperature stands at around 26-27°C with a humidity level of about 85-90%. Water temperatures are always pleasant. The two seasons, rainy and dry season, are not clear cut and entirely predictable. Christmas and New Year is high / peak season in Bali although it is technically “rainy season”.
