An abundance of shopping centres
Across Indonesia and the capital, there is an abundance of malls and where globally-known brands open their stores, and Bali is no exception. Centered around the centre of popular areas, these large buildings extend onto compounds and floor upon floor are decked with stores. Although Bali is not known for a city-like feel, the lifestyle hubs are the place to shop, as well as escape from the heat.
However, malls are not just shopping centres as they serve as hang out spots for Indonesians who spend their weekends either shopping, meeting with friends, or watching movies. You’ll find them equally as crowded as you would on a busy high street.
