Today, Hindus in Bali will observe the Tumpek Landep ritual. It is a holy day to honor the almighty God in His manifestation as the Sang Hyang Siwa Pasupati, who is believed to be the supreme divine power (known as “Taksu” in Bali) of everything in the world, including living and non-living things. Tumpek Landep is observed every six months according to the Balinese calendar, which corresponds to 210 days on Saniscara Kliwon Landep.
