Mount Batur (Gunung Batur) is an active volcano located at the north side of Mt. Agung. This stratovolcano is situated in a popular mount resort area Kintamani, with an elevation of 1717 metres above sea levels. Many hikers enjoy hiking at this mountain as it has a very beautiful view at the summit and the trek is not so hard to be conquered.

During weekend or holidays, tourists and locals will gather in many campsites nearby such as Pinggan, Penelokan and Toya Bungkah. Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy a natural hot spring and visiting cafes near Penelokan; they have a very beautiful view of mount Batur from afar.
