Between Petitenget and Berawa Beach sits Batubelig Beach, a black-sand beach. It’s about 20 minutes away drive north of Seminyak’s main retail and dining districts. There are several nice beach bars along the shoreline, but 707 Beachberm is the most favourite.
The soft, black sand of Batubelig Beach is ideal for relaxing and sunbathing. However, compared to Kuta and Legian, the waves can be rougher here, with the tides striking the shore forcefully. Swimming is typically dangerous due to this, as well as some strong undercurrents.
