Using fresh, natural, organic and premium ingredients, our culinary team successfully brings out the natural flavours and presents them beautifully.
The cooking methods used in AKAR Restaurant are mostly grilled to bring out a nostalgic nod to the past, absorbing the nuance of life in the forest and the outskirts of Ubud where there were no modern methods of preparing food. As such, charcoal is used as fuel, lending its distinctive characteristics to each dish, yet combined with a modern touch.
